This Cookie Policy explains how SignalView ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on signalview.tech. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. 1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information to the site owners. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and pixels — are treated as cookies for the purposes of this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always active)

Required for the website to function — for example to remember your theme preference, your cookie consent choice, and to keep you signed in to the customer console. These cannot be switched off.

  • sv-theme — remembers light/dark theme preference. First-party, persistent.
  • sv-cookie-consent — stores your cookie consent choice. First-party, persistent.
  • Supabase auth tokens (only on authenticated sub-domains) — keep you signed in. First-party, session/persistent.

2.2 Analytics (optional, requires consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. These cookies are only set after you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. We run Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage defaulted to denieduntil you grant consent.

  • _ga, _ga_* — used by Google Analytics to distinguish users. Third-party (Google LLC), persistent (up to 2 years).

2.3 Marketing & advertising

We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and request fresh consent.

We rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics cookies and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure website for strictly necessary cookies. 5. International transfers

Google Analytics may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal basis for such transfers.
